About this house sitting position in Green Bottom, near Littledean, Gloucestershire

The Hughes family live in a detached stone house, nestled on a hillside, up a forest track in a small hamlet called Green Bottom in the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
We have 2 dogs - Guinness a Basset Poodle X who is 6 and Moose a Weimaraner who is 11 - and a rescue cat called Tom.
We have a large garden and small field where you can exercise the dogs in on a rainy day! There are wood burners in the lounge and kitchen for the winter months.
The nearest village is Littledean about 2 miles away with a post office, shop, pub and a good chip shop!
We are rural with immediate access to the woods and fantastic walks, with a wide variety of outdoor pursuits on offer in the Forest, Severn Vale and Wye Valley.
Gloucester, Cheltenham Spa, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye are all within 30-40 minutes drive.
Our house sitter would need to love, cuddle and feed all of them, and walk the the dogs every day.
It is really important we have someone who would be willing to manage the dogs who need to be kept separate at all times. This means they need to be let out in the garden and walked separately too.
The dogs have an anxiety issue between them....they are absolutely fine with other dogs and people. Both are very friendly, just not too keen on each other! It would not be possible for a house sitter to bring their own pets. The dogs can be left alone for 3 - 4 hours to allow you to explore, shop and eat out.
If we were away for more than a week or so it would be helpful to have a house sitter willing to tend the garden, which is informal and easy to do.
Smokers welcome but must smoke outside only.
We are hoping someone will love their Forest holiday so much they might become regulars.
