About this house sitting position in Pinhoe

My house is on the north-east outskirts of Exeter. It is an ex-stationmasters house at Pinhoe ( google it to find plenty of pictures), a station on the Exeter to Waterloo line.
Train takes five minutes into the city, hourly service, there is also a local bus stop over the road.
I have a 12 year old Collie Cross Matty, who is the reason I need a sitter. He is very friendly with humans and easy to get along with. He is somewhat food motivated and is a terrible food thief if he can get away with it. He also has health issues, he is epileptic. This is controlled well with twice daily doses of meds and he has not had a fit for over a year. Experience with epilepsy would be an advantage, but not essential.
He also has a dodgy back and slight weakness in his back legs. However, he is quite active and playful, enjoys walks and especially getting into streams and rivers to swim.
He likes travelling in the car and is ok on journeys.
Your duties would revolve around feeding Matty morning and evening - giving medications with his food. He needs a couple of walks a day; there is a park on the other side of the station, or there is plenty of countryside and woodlands to explore.
He also need company - though it would be ok to leave him at home if you go out for a few hours.
As for the house sitting side of things there is little to list here. My lodger will be staying in the house throughout.
We are a reasonably relaxed household and don't mind if you are a smoker. Read more...
