Kathy and Rob have lived and worked in Australia for nearly 30 years and now that we are retired we are looking to return to the UK for periods of time and house-sitting is perfect for us (we have retained our British Passports). Until very recently we have always had pets in our home:- dogs ,cats, mainly, but other animals the children brought home and became part of the family. In fact, we often take our son's dog to give it respite from the very young grand-children. Consequently, we would be very happy to give your pets the loving care and attention they need in your absence. We both like the garden, so we are willing to care for it and mow the grass if required. We are caring responsible people and having owned units and houses for 40 years, and will respect your home as our own.

Rob is a Rotarian and has been assisting and arranging community projects in Sydney and other countries for the past 18 years, and Kate has undertaken voluntary work with children recently in Thailand. Having been a Strata Manager for 8 years, Rob would be able to arrange for work to be undertaken in an emergency but would only do this after first consulting and agreeing with the owners who we would consult as much as they request.

This year we have now undertaken House-Sits in Sydney and Perth and are currently undertaking one in Melbourne, Australia through the Australian equivalent of this website. In Perth and Melbourne, we have been staying on farms where we have/are looking after several dogs, chickens and horses.

We then visit the UK in early August and are doing some house sits before returning to Australia in mid-November. We have arranged House-sits in Weston-Super-Mare, near Reading, Yorkshire and mid-Wales, through this and other organisations. So if you require someone to look after your place and pets, please consider us. We have hired a car.
