I've lived, loved and learned in Asia, Australia, Middle East and Europe; as a senior executive, project manager, experiential coach, engineer, equine behaviourist, reiki master and mother to various 4 legged kids along the way. In my last senior executive role I was responsible for a multi-million pound, multi-site operation, based within a large, international welfare charity; with 300 divisional personnel, 150 equines and providing 15,000 client support sessions per annum. I have decided to take a long overdue sabbatical and am embarking on a (distance learning) diploma in animal communication & healing as my passion is all things nature, especially canine and equine. I have rehomed 'difficult' rescue dogs over the years and can offer over 45 years of equine experience too. I've been around horses since age four and in 2005 began an intensive 3 years of specialist training with Monty Roberts, and was subsequently hand-picked, by Monty, to represent him internationally - an honour held by less than 25 people, worldwide, at the time of certification. During those 3 years I gentled wild horses, trained remedial horses and started, under saddle, young horses ready for riding. More recently I trained with James French, of the Trust Technique, and I am now looking to take my connection to animals one step further with my continued communication/healing studies.

I have spent the last 7 months based in France taking the opportunity, created by Covid, to spend some time in a new culture whilst meeting virtual work commitments. However, with the end of the Brexit withdrawal period I am returning to the UK. Having grown up in the North West, attended University in the Midlands, lived/worked in North London and more recently in the South West I am familiar with a large breadth of the UK. My last UK home was a farm in Devon, so I am familiar with caring for a range of woolly, furry, and feathered friends. All of the above means I have the experience and flexibility to undertake the extensive responsibilities associated with a long term house/pet sitting role. I am extremely used to settling in to new environments, meeting new people and undertaking high level responsibilities. I am a woman that can, yes I can change a tyre or drive a tractor if needed, and I am totally comfortable with my own company.

I would be delighted to be able to support people in having peace of mind that their homes and animals, if required, are being cared for with the utmost of care and diligence. Whilst I have a base in the UK I am always interested in experiencing new and interesting locations hence the desire to house sit.

I am ideally looking for a 1 - 3 months house sit; for the right opportunity however I would be happy to consider a longer term arrangement. I have a number of house owner references, with regards to my suitability to stay within another's home, and can provide as needed. Referee owners would prefer their details are kept confidential hence why they have not been listed in the media section here. However for a serious home sitting prospect they can provided without issue. I also have police clearance for all the countries I have resided within in the last 20 years.
