Hello, Evie and Shaun here!

We are a fun and friendly couple who met in Australia when Evie moved there for a Working Holiday in 2018.

Evie is from originally from Kent but has lived and worked in media and the creative sector in Manchester, York and Glasgow. Shaun is from the idyllic Jervis Bay but has spent his last couple of years living and working on a cattle station in rural Queensland, Australia.

Due to the pandemic we have been separated for a number of months and we are finally being reunited as Shaun has got an exemption to come and visit the UK. We are looking for a long term house sit preferably somewhere rural where we can spend some quality time together.

We are tidy, respectable and caring people who will take care of your home whilst you are away. We are both non-smokers. We love and grew up with animals and would be delighted to look after any pets you have. Shaun thoroughly enjoyed his time working on the farm and has experience managing cattle, horses and chickens.

Our hobbies include hiking, rock climbing and kayaking. We are both outdoorsy people and last year Shaun experienced outdoors in winter in the UK for the first time. There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!

We did a lot of travelling in Australia doing some house sitting on the way. We house sat a lovely cat called Henry in Waterloo, Sydney on a couple of occasions being asked to return after our first visit. We also looked after a rescue dog, Neo and a black lab, Ebony as well as some thirsty plants in the summer in Western Australia.
