Animal lovers, keen gardeners, experienced pool owners and house proud people.
We have been privileged to enjoy the company of number of cats who adopted us over the years and had the joy of the companionship of an exceptional dog. When she died a couple of years ago we decided to keep ourselves pet less in order to have the freedom to travel. That led to pet sitting friends’ dogs in our own home, which, in turn led to house sitting. I am happy to walk, groom, smooch and scratch your pets in all the right places. I can also medicate pets if necessary. We have also looked after chickens, fish and a few sheep!
As a keen gardener with horticultural training I am able to prune, mulch, fertilise, spray, mow and trim your garden, if requested. We had a large collection of pot plants in our home
Also we had a large swimming pool so we are used to checking pool water and adding chemicals as needed. We can clean out skimmers and vacuum by hand or maintain an automatic pool cleaner. We sold our home in June 2014 and have been house sitting and travelling since then.
Max, with his engineering background, can fix just about anything!
We retired from work in July 2015. We are both non-smokers. We are familiar with security systems from the days when we owned businesses.
We love house sitting and the opportunities it gives us to make new friends (both two legged and four legged) and we are eager to explore the parts of the UK we haven't yet seen.
