Originally from Scotland, I'm a professional part-time Archivist now living in Central London. A good Archivist (which I like to think I am!) is responsible, organised, contemplative, resourceful and empathetic. Qualities which also make a good housesitter, I reckon. I've been petsitting in parallel with my other job since 2018 and have 40+ 5-star reviews over on another site that I'd be happy to share.

I always prioritise time with my pet clients; essentially I'm a low-maintenance animal-lover who enjoys a quiet night in with pet snuggles, and days off pottering around in galleries and museums. I'm also a vegetarian (mostly vegan!), fully vaccinated non-smoker with an enhanced DBS certificate (police check).

Since early 2025 I've been joined occasionally by my partner, Rob. Although I'm still essentially a solo sitter (Rob has his own place in London), I like to take sits where owners are comfortable with him staying over sometimes.
