I'm a busy professional, and now a seasoned Housesitter on the mind-a- home website.

* I don't charge, on this website. Occasionally homeowners do offer to pay for transport costs to get to my location, but I always cover my own.
I am DBS cleared. * I normally arrange my own food while sitting - unless you really far out from the shops. I do a lot of remote housesits where the homeowner has arranged food for the duration of my stay, but often a Tesco's or other will still deliver. Otherwise I usually make my own arrangements. If you leave some nibbles for me, great.
* I need a bed to sleep in! most homeowners will let me know which room I can stay in while they are away. I do use your /a bathroom / shower. I would use your home like a normal homeowner but keep to the confines of the rooms you have allocated to me. I look after your animals and get on with my work during the day - like you would if you were home.
* I need WIFI to work. I'm really busy with work during the day (yes I have full time job!). All my work is done remotely which allows me to "work from home"
* I use tea, coffee and toilet paper and I love to watch the telly in the evening. (Most housesitters do)....
* If its winter and its cold - please keep the heating on!
* If you not sure if you still going to go away, please don't book me - I'm usually booked full for my allocated slots. If I plan my trips and get last minute cancellations, I could have allocated that slot to someone else, I might have even spent on travel tickets to get closer to your location. I sometimes make other bookings around the previous bookings I have allocated. It potentially blocks someone else from having a free sitter and could cost me more with travel.
* I will update you when you are away on your pet and I will make sure your home is clean when you return.
* My bookings are made on good references so I make sure I do a good job to keep getting more bookings.
* I am reliable and responsible and clean. I will be efficient and cost conscious in looking after your home. I wont use your stoves and ovens and I will be cautious on electrical costs, I do use your microwave.
* I can (if logistics allow), try come in earlier to meet and see what is required. Some owners are happy to leave the key under a mat (or wherever) with the "to do" list and chat over a skype call and and I throw the key back through a window/ mat when I leave. Whatever works for you. Also check my booking calendar for availability.
*I'm good with skittish cats and dogs.
* Owners like to book me as I work from home so I am home with the pets for most of the day. I cant really leave a home during a work day. This ensures pets are not left alone for long periods of time. I'm not a tourist. I'm working from home.
