Hi, we're Clare and John, a husband and wife team offering house and petsitting, accompanied by our rescue DOG Luna, a beautiful miniature pinscher. We have always had pets and view them as part of the family.
We started housesitting in 2021 and were amazed how quickly we formed such strong bonds with the animals we were caring for and their owners.
Me and John work well together, John loving to garden and I enjoy keeping other people's homes spotless; it gives me far more pleasure than cleaning my own!
We are both kind, calm, honest and reliable. Neither of us smoke, we drink minimally, both have full, clean driving licences and are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Luna loves people, cuddles, her bed and crate for sleeping and whenever alone. She likes animals her own size and smaller; our old cat used to play chase, and hide and seek with her. She is so gentle with rabbits and guinea pigs, and when we kept chickens Luna ignored them. We used to live surrounded by farmland, so she is also used to sheep, cows and horses.
Luna recently developed an ISSUE WITH DOGS; barking, raising heckles and if still anxious, snarling. We are trying to work with her to resolve the issue, both for her and us.
