Hi there, we’re David and Francesca. We work in the field of health and wellness, have traveled the world and both work remotely. We’ve just recently returned to the UK after an extended period in France and are looking for longer-term house-sitting opportunities so we can experience new areas of the UK, do our work, and also take the time to feel into the places that we’re taking care of, so that we can build and offer a truly nurturing relationship with and for your pets/plants/home. We’re both in our 40’s, live a clean vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, no smoking, alcohol or drugs, regular meditation practitioners, love animals and nature, are deeply respectful of the places that we stay and both have a strong connection with earth energies. Francesca has always had pets in her life, in particular cats, dogs and rabbits, and also worked for a short time at an animal shelter in her 20s, as well as house-sitting for family and friends. David also grew up with pets, dogs in particular, is an avid walker and runner (long dog walks are no problem!), has extensive gardening experience including working on an organic farm and taking care of the gardens at a retreat centre in Nicaragua and was a live-in maintenance manager and handyman at a Buddhist monastery for a prolonged period. We’re available for house-sits in quieter areas close to nature, from 2 weeks to 3 months, or more. We also have our own transport. Read more...
