I am a 48 year old former teacher turned home/pet sitter. Married for 18 years and have a 8 year old daughter.
For the last 20 years I have worked in live-in positions, managing the house, being key holder and first contact with contractors, trades people and delivery. My daily duties were feeding and tending to pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, poultry) arranging vet appointments, painting-decorating, housekeeping-, handyman,-office- duties, maintenance gardening, pool and tennis court maintenance etc. A few years ago I started my side business ,home and pet sitting for friends, relatives and people in my vicinity and my love and passion for animals helped me to build a small clientele but I am always excited to meet with new people.
I am reliable, punctual, organised with eye for details. Being a father, safety is paramount and that applies to your pets, plants, garden and your home of course. I am very approachable, love to watch movies, long walks and prefer a good book -audiobooks nowadays- in front of the fireplace to a night out in the pub. I am a non-smoker and I don't drink alcohol at all. I have a full, clean driving licence but I don't own a vehicle. I use the railways instead and watch the world go by.
I am DBS clear and I can provide excellent references.
