Hi, we are from Taiwan, a small island next to China. This year I made a decision to take my 8 years old daughter on an adventure to study & live in the UK for a few years. My daughter has been offered a place by one of the schools in Edinburgh but after living there for a while, we both think that we belong to a rural area where there are many trees that will nourish our minds and souls. Therefore we left Edinburgh and started traveling and hope to find a school and area that is suitable for both of us. Recently I discovered this house-sitting thing and have had tried once - we were house & dog sitting in Wokingham for a family that was away for 8 days. The house owner wrote me an endorsement and was very pleased with what we did. We are decent people, responsible & respectful. Back home we lived in a nice area in Taipei. I am highly educated. One of my degrees was received from Durham University (England) and I guess that is why I feel that I want to take my daughter back to this country to live for some time. I chose to be a full-time mother because I really enjoy being a mother. We will be thankful if we can find a long term house sitting opportunity so my daughter can go to school near by. We love dogs, preferably medium to large dogs as they are calmer (like us). My daughter loves playing with them and I enjoy walking dogs. We both are quiet people, enjoy quiet activities such as painting, watching movies and bird watching. We are very clean and like to keep the environment clean.
