We are Victoria and Xabier. After many years working as university professors, we are now a young retired couple who love to experience life and other cultures. We are always looking for opportunities to explore the UK and will treat your home, beloved pets and plants with love, respect and care. We are both from the Basque Country (Spain). Our job has made our life happy and exciting but now we feel very happy and excited as well being so flexible that we can be anywhere in the world for almost any length of time. But now, there's a very clear line for us between travel and house sitting. We do not house sit whilst travelling and we think that when house sit all our attention should be directed to the pets and property in our care, so it means your pets will get lots of attention and affection.
We have never had a house sit or pet sitting assignment yet, because, as I just said, never had enough time to dedicate to be away for a length of time. This new situation now leaves us flexible, with more time to move around and able to watch over your beloved pets and dear possessions.
Equally, we have never had a pet at home ourselves because we have always spent a lot of time away from home with our working hours, but we have lived with dogs around all our life, my sister and my brother have dogs and whenever they are away or busy, their dogs are ours to take care of them and they feel with us ever so happy, in our family pets are family members too.
We will also take exceptional care of your house. I am very clean and tidy; I can't stand a mess. We have had visitors and friends staying at home and know what it is like to have other people taking care of your property and personal items. I can assure you that you will not have to worry about anything while we are there. Your pets will be in friendly hands with us, but you’re also able to relax in the knowledge that we’ll care for your home as if it were our own. You'll get reports, pictures and updates whenever you require them to provide as much reassurance as you need.
We love to keep things tidy and clean! we don’t smoke, love the outdoors, friendly and easy to get along with, open, active and energetic. We are responsible, respectful and considerate people to take care of your home, things, and pets, laid back but driven people. We love people from all different cultures and would love to share your pets and place!
