Hi my name is Martin (aged 60) and I currently live in Cumbria running a pub with my partner Tracy (age 55). My partner has run pubs for many years, prior to this was a Special Educational Needs Teacher and before that a Financial Advisor for a large Building Society. I now help my partner run the pub but before this I was a wagon driver for a carpet company for many years and prior to that was a Manager at an artificial stone company. I very much enjoy DIY and can set my hand to most tasks as I love the challenge of something new. We have recently purchased a vehicle and converted this to a motorhome and are now in a position to semi-retire in the hope of travelling around the UK. We are both very honest and hardworking and both enjoy the outdoors - although we now do not have any pets of our own we are both animal lovers - especially dogs. Although we currently have no experience of house sitting we have looked after family/friends houses and look after pubs when people have been on holiday. We are very easy to get along with and would love the opportunity to enjoy travelling whilst gaining new experiences and meeting new people on the way. We are able to provide references. Read more...
