More information about this house sitter

I'm a NHS physiotherapist & Dan is a professional photographer. We have both been bought up with animals and all the fun and hilarity they bring. Between us we had horses, pony, shetland pony, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, tortoise and a cockatiel.
We love to travel and are both trained scuba divers so try and incorporate that if we can when we travel abroad. I once swam with whale sharks which was awe-inspiring and on our last trip in 2019 we were lucky enough to swim with manatees. I've also been on safari which was incredible to see the animals in the wild. However, we also love to explore the UK and go away for weekend adventures when we can.
We try and keep fit with walks, yoga and swimming although the lockdown belly is still currently winning! We also like to write, read and I like to do a little bit of art.

I did not know this concept existed until earlier this year and couldn't wait to register! I'm so looking forward to meeting people, animals and exploring new places. Dan & I now feel hotels and B&Bs are a thing of the past - why would we go away anywhere else when this way we can hang out with animals whilst giving pet owners peace of mind! It's such a fabulous concept.
Towards the end of 2021 Dan & I will be between houses for approx 6 months or more. We are very excited, as once fully moved we will be able to start building our own family (with pets!). Until then, the plan is to stay with my sister but the only animals they have are my nieces and nephews. We realised we could possibly have animals in our lives before we are settled in our new home by registering with mindahome and seeing if there were any local pets that needed sitting in this time period.
We have now done one house sit from this website and 2 others from a different site and have thoroughly enjoyed each of them. Prior to these house sits we have looked after friend's and family pets while they have been away on holiday. We are trustworthy, reliable and both professional people.
Dan has said he will also do a pet portrait or 'family pet portrait' free of charge if house owners were keen. Read more...
