Hello,
I'm a peace-loving, nature loving retired gent.
I love walking in nature and also have a regular meditation practice.
I retired early (at 40yrs of age) from my career as an Environmental Health Officer, and have spent many years travelling and have also spent several years (on and off) living in Buddhist monasteries in the UK and Switzerland.......quite a rich tapestry of experiences.
I have until recently been in a long term relationship, but now that has ended, I am living as a lodger in a shared house. My current landlord has asked me to vacate my room by early April as he will be needing that room for when his family and friends come to visit during the summer.
I am planning to visit Australia this year in order to visit my sister, who I haven't seen for many years, and am therefore looking for short term accommodation anywhere in the UK for the period before I go to Australia and also when I return.
I'm very well house-trained and have also had dogs of my own and so am quite happy to take care of a dog or two as part of my contribution to your time away.
I'm very happy to meet you either in person or via Zoom and have just received my booster Covid jab.
I look forward to discovering new parts of the UK and enjoying whatever is on offer in the area......I hardly drink alcohol at all, I don't smoke and have never taken drugs.....I'm actually a very quiet person generally speaking, but quite capable and practical.
