I am 65, recently retired, Avril my partner is 63, she doesn't always come with me due to other commitments. I have traveled a lot in Europe recently both for leisure & work but somehow haven't seen a great deal of this country recently. I am a country person at heart being brought up in the wilds of Suffolk with dogs, cats & worked my school holidays on a local farm. I still live in Suffolk but have lived in London, the Isle of Wight and Spain, I visited the west country a lot , my late Sister lived on a narrow boat at Bradford upon Avon.
I have looked after lots of dogs and other animals for friends and housesat for a number of people.
I am at present in Spain but getting back ASAP. I've been stuck here due to cancelled flights, stringent local lockdowns & the difficulty of getting information mainly in the UK.
