Hello! I'm retired now after a varied career in which I've been a social media consultant, a writer and an editor of books (mostly non-fiction, mostly about history), so I've been self-employed for a long time now which means I have learned to be reasonably organised; and I enjoy being outdoors, especially walking and cycling. I have had many dogs (most recently collie-cross, border terrier and Norfolk terrier) and have always lived with a cat though the last one has recently passed on to the great cattery in the sky. I've also been responsible - via my children - for a variety of small and furry creatures up to and including rabbits; and one daughter was horse-mad (she still is, aged 30+), so I had to learn my way around a stable too.
I am quiet, tidy and responsible, and will look after your home and your pets as if they were my own. I am also vegetarian and non-smoking, so won't leave any unwelcome traces behind. Am happy to do tidying work in your garden too if necessary.
