Hello! I have been a public and private educator in music (public 8 years, private 15 years), and am currently a research assistant for a prominent conservatoire and a leading science institution in London. I came to the UK to extend my learning opportunities in these areas. I am originally from California, USA and most recently from Oregon amongst the beautiful green forests, mountains, rivers, and lakes of the Pacific Northwest.

I absolutely adore animals, and several friends and colleagues have joked that I may be the 'animal whisperer'; mainly because I have a way connecting with them, even animals characteristically not friendly with strangers/humans. I find it an essential part of existence to connect with living creatures, as we are all part of the grand scheme.

My family had pets growing up (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, two Chincillas, I had a rat, and fish). As an adult I have owned my own dog and taken care of roommates pets, as if they were my own (dogs & cats). I have petsit for several friends of mine away, and housesat for colleagues and family while they were vacationing.

I am highly responsible, highly respectable and reliable, and consider housitting caring for a home as more valuable than my own. I have owned my own house (a large two story house, with a few plants in the small garden) for four years while a school teacher, before I returned to grad school and moved upstate. I believe that one's home is one's most valuable possession, and to care for such should be with the utmost respect and consideration.
