Hello, my name is Giorgia.
My lifelong passion in the care and protection of animals has guided my life choices, studies and careers towards this field. With a background in Zoology, I have more than 10 years of personal and professional experience working with domesticated and wild animals. From cats and dogs, to farm animals and monkeys! After I graduated, I got involved in conservation projects worldwide; specialising in primate conservation. Alongside that, in 2012 I ran a pet caring service in London and in 2019/20 I launched it in Cornwall and Devon. Providing dog walking & training sessions, day pet care and pet & house sitting.

In 2017 I decided to explore other interests of mine. That led to study permaculture and sustainable living; getting certified to teach mindfulness yoga and working as a whole-food chef for one of the top 10 health retreat centres in the country.

My loyal companion, Rootz, passed away last year leaving a big gap behind him. Although I miss having a dog, now I have less personal responsibilities and more freedom of movement. As I am currently working part time, I have the time and energy to offer a house sitting or pet sitting service. I have my own transport and I can take on booking distant from where I live.
