About this house sitting position in Bath
About the property: Two bedroom flat with one double bed with plenty of storage.
There is an open plan kitchen/living room with sitting area and dining area. Double bedroom with chest of drawers, clothes rail, full length mirror, bedside tables and lamps. Bathroom with shower over (large) bath.
Flat has all the usual stuff - smart TV with Netflex, Prime, YouTube; stereo with aux and turntable; plenty of books etc. Kitchen has washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, double oven, microwave etc.
Please note: Second bedroom is used as studio and will be used to store my clothes - Use of this room (as a workspace) is included only with prior arrangment.
The flat is light, airy, quiet and private (on top/2nd floor, at rear of building).
You will be living on the edge of the city's green spaces. 10-15mins to University of Bath by car or bike. 10min drive into central Bath, 25mins on the bus. Free residential parking directly outside property (no permit required).
Requirements:
I have two large and very friendly indoor cats, along with approx 30 indoor plants. The cats, Eric and Pierre, need feeding twice daily, fresh water top ups and the usual litter tray clearing. They (mostly Eric) like to play for 20-30mins each day, although they'll still be your friend if they miss a day here or there. Plants just need watering once/twice a week.
About me: I'm a 3rd year PhD student and tutor at the University of Bath. I plan to start making semi-regular trips away for a few weeks at a time. I'm very relaxed about people using the space like it's their own whilst they are taking care of it.
The flat will always be clean with fresh bedding and towels when you arrive. I'll also make sure there is a supply of tea/coffee/juice and other essentials for you. Read more...
