About this house sitting position in Canterbury

Hi! We have lived here in a beautiful Kent valley on the outskirts of our village for 27 years. We are 7 mins walk from the village with shop and pubs. The house is (finally) renovated, large, light and spacious and set in gardens and 9 acres of grazing land. It is very clean and disinfected daily. There is a large bedroom with a fab view, a kingsize bed and ensuite available for stays.
We have a 4 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback - our big boy goes for a walk or run twice a day, in between he loves keeping humans company (especially if they are cooking!) and dozing. He is well trained, sensitive, inquisitive and sweet tempered but can be wary of other dogs (despite his size!) and small children. He is easy to walk on a lead and stays close by off the lead. We are blessed with endless field and forest routes to explore on foot or bike and the S.coast is only 20 mins drive away. Canterbury is 25 mins drive and steeped in history. Ashford International station is only 25 mins drive. and the high-speed train reaches St Pancras International station in 35 mins.
Trustworthiness and experience with large dog breeds are essential, as is a willingness to wash paws and floors! Read more...
