About this house sitting position in Chichester

Hello,
We'd love to get to know you and so would our dog Chilli!

We have a beautiful and newly renovated warm and cosy cottage in Chichester. It has 2 bedrooms, both ensuite (one with a bath), it's open plan downstairs with a kitchen/living/dining room, and a separate entrance/hallway/utility/cloakroom. It also has parking and a courtyard garden. It's in a fabulous location, very quiet and safe, with lovely neighbours and it's just a 3 minute walk into town and the train station is a 7 minute walk.

Chilli is our beloved 10 year old Coton de Tulear dog, to be cared for whilst we go on holiday. She's very sweet and funny, but she can be quite a diva! She walks beautifully to heel and is good off the lead in the countryside or at the beach, as she won't venture far from you. She likes 2 walks a day (one long one in the morning and just a quickie in the afternoon). She can be a fussy eater and will need coaxing with something 'special' on top of her kibble. Although she will be very shy at first, she will soon show you that she's quite a character in terms of being the boss.

Chichester is a very small cathedral city steeped in history, with market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, a theatre, galleries, museums, two cinemas and a sports complex with a swimming pool, there are also a number of public tennis courts and golf courses locally. There are lots of shops and great (dog friendly) cafes and restaurants, as well as Aldi, Lidl, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S. It is also well connected by bus and train routes.

There is fantastic walking on the South Downs, in the woodlands and at the beach at West Wittering. We would recommend that you drive, and that you have a car, but we'll consider putting you on our own car insurance if you are over 30 and have a clean license but don't own a vehicle.

We are looking for a non-smoking, honest, responsible, clean and tidy single person or a couple, that will have the time and dedication to truly love and care for our dog, and look after our home. Please provide references and ideally, we would like to meet you before the housesit begins.
