About this house sitting position in CHIRK

This is a house sit in the borderlands of North Shropshire and North Wales. We need someone to look after our little dog Yindi and 4 lovely cats. There is our 16 year old matriarch Plato, 12 year old deaf Mabul, our timid 5 year old Welsh lad Emrys. and young lad Koori our other deaf cat.
Our household includes our gentle bearded dragon lizard Rathion and a tank of tropical fish (most of which are not named!).
We are looking for a single person or couple who would enjoy making a fuss of our dog and cats and to ensure they are indoors each night.(They don't stray too far...). We particularly need someone who is confident with caring for Mabul who has been recently diagnosed with a brain tumour. She is a little demented and needs lots of cuddles and reassurance. Also you would need to feel OK feeding and taking good care of Rathion in his vivarium. Rathion is not the cuddly type and you don't have to touch him.
We love our little early 19th century cottage. We would need someone who would look after it as their own and who doesn't mind doing a quick daily vacuum. (As you can imagine, with our brood pet hair accumulates quickly!).
Our cottage sits along the old A5. Opposite us is the Llangollen canal and we back onto the Brynkinalt Estate with beautiful views of the River Ceiriog and surrounds. Our cottage has 2 bedrooms and a study with all modern conveniences. There is off street parking. We are about a mile from the village of Chirk, 8 miles from Oswestry and Wrexham and about 10 miles from Llangollen. Chirk Castle and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct are close by. The border market town of Oswestry is a 10 minute drive away while Shrewsbury/Chester are 30 minutes away. Ramblers and cyclists are familiar sights.
This house-sitting job would really suit someone who loves to care for animals ,who can give plenty of time and attention to them and who appreciates the charm of an old cottage in a rural sitting. It is ideal for walkers.
