About this house sitting position in CIRENCESTER
We are in the Cotswold village of Siddington just outside Cirencester. The house is a five bedroom semi-detached (one of the bedrooms has been converted into a home office). There is a good size back garden which overlooks fields which usually have horses in.
We have a collection of animals - 1 hamster, 4 guinea pigs and a small dog (cavachon). The hamster is easy to look after, bed cleaned every 3 to 4 days, food and water given once a day and she likes to come out in her ball in the evening. The guinea pigs a usually put in their outside runs during the day and brought in again at night. They need food, water and hay daily and cleaned out about once a week. The dog is quite a timid thing which is why I have said "maybe" to house sitters with pets, she tends to get intimidated by bouncy very playful dogs. She loves nothing more than cuddling up on a knee in the evenings. She is used to sleeping in a crate but is always delighted when there is an offer of sleeping on someones bed.
Siddington is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds, Chetenham, Bath and Bristol. The local pub is excellent and Cirencester has a number of pubs and restaurants as well as may independent shops and supermarkets.
