About this house sitting position in Cockshutt, Ellesmere

I live in a small, very old character cottage (built 1773) with a granny annex and two log burners, a small garden and two small dogs.

Florence is a twelve year old Yorkshire terrier, who is very sweet and loving but can be prone to barking. She needs a lot of one to one attention and cuddles.

Billy is a (female) twelve year old, slightly overweight, Jack Russell, who can be a little nervous, especially regarding loud noises. She is very sweet and loving too however, although sometimes a little solitary.

My girls, Florence and Billy, are my whole world. They are treated like children and they sleep on (and frequently in) the bed.

I am a teacher and am out of the house every day, which they are used to. But I never get to go on holiday unless it’s within the UK as I don’t have a house sitter.

I am looking for loving, gentle, caring sitters to take care of my girls. They are both seemingly very young, fun and energetic for their ages.

However, the likelihood is I will give Florence to a family friend and my housesitter will take care of Billy at home.

The only requirement will be lots of love, allowing her into the bed, and a nice walk in the village each day.

Although I am looking for a sitter for August, I am hoping to find someone who can also do the odd weekends, and generally become a trusted part of the girls lives.
