About this house sitting position in Easington Colliery
I need to make a few trips away over the next couple of years when I won't be able to take my gorgeous Chihuahuas with me. Looking for a peaceful soul willing to chill and follow my (experienced behaviourist) guidance as Barley (8 yrs, Chi x) is stranger phobic and a resource guarder. He's easy to manage and doesn't want to use his teeth but will test you as well as make you laugh a lot. Mostly his management is about mutual respect and not leaving tissues or anything smelling of skin within reach! He will give most things up now we have spent a year working towards understanding each other but may need convincing to transfer his skills to someone new. Seda (6 yrs, full Chi) is an ex breeder and still quite mumsy although slowly learning that's not her role in life any longer. She can be a bit in Barley's face at times but her interactions are getting more polite. Currently reactive to other dogs on walks which we are working through, again specific advice can be supplied or she can have a few days off going for walks.
