About this house sitting position in Folkestone

We have a quirky 3 bedroom 2 floor 1930's lodge house, positioned two streets back from the sea and promenade, in the handsome west end of Folkestone, Kent. A short walk gets you to the ocean and turning left, you have Folkestone with it's Harbour Arm and Creative Quarter, right you have the pretty seaside village of Sandgate to explore. We have shared gardens but there is a wealth of green and blue space around us to enjoy, as well as a seafront beach hut set in an award winning coastal park for your exclusive use too. Off street parking is available and we are a 10 minute walk from the train station with 54 minute travel time into London via the HS1 high-speed train.

We have a 15yr old grumpy female house cat called Mychka who offers only cupboard love! We also have a 5yr old Hamilton Hound called Nuala and she's a gentle soul, medium sized and laid back. She enjoys company, just wanting to be in the same room as you, and we really don't feel that kenneling would be good for her, hence being on here! My son and daughter have now left home and so no longer have their in-house support for pet care duties! My daughter lives in the next town but she works nursing shifts which are not compatible with doggy care but she will be on hand if needed. Read more...
