Heighington is a lovely countryside village 4 miles from Lincoln which has good bus connections to town. There are 2 dog friendly pubs which both serve food and the neighbouring village pubs are a comfortable walk away. There is a SPAR in the village and a Co-op within walking distance in the next village. Heighington is surrounded by farmed fields and dissected by a gorgeous beck perfect for cooling down hot doggies. There are many walks through and around the village including the Viking Way.
You will have use of the sunny south facing guest room with a king sized bed. We have an enclosed garden with a designated toilet area for our girl – she is a star at not weeing on the lawn. The house is about a 90 second walk from the lane that we use for off lead walkies across the fields. We live on a new build site that is still being developed so there will be a bit of noise from 7:30am – 4:30pm on weekdays but it is tolerable. The Butcher & Beast pub is an easy 10 minute walk from home. You will have access to Netflix, a decent Virgin tv package and very good internet.
2.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Ellie. Ellie is a big girl (40kg) but she is a softy who doesn't have a bad bone in her body – except for cats…! Ellie uses a gencon lead but has generally grown out of pulling. Ellie goes out for meals, drinks and hotel stays with us so is a fantastic well behaved companion when out and about. Morning routine: wake up, walkies (poop), breakfast. Evening routine: walkies (poop), dinner around 6pm, play with ball, sleep in living room, wee wees in the garden just before bedtime.
Feed Ellie twice a day
Walk Ellie twice a day – or one big one depending on weather/timings/length of walk
Water veg beds, front garden and house plants – maybe only once a week depending on weather
One dose of flea treatment to be administered (hidden in a chunk of cheese)
