About this house sitting position in Leeds

Recently renovated modern family home in friendly village north of Leeds. Lots of space inside and out in a countryside setting but with easy access to Leeds, Wetherby and Harrogate. There's a bus route through the village and we have lots of secure off street parking. We have a self contained office and fast internet for those wanting to work from home and a gym for any fitness fanatics. The village has lots of amenities within walking distance including pubs, a restaurant, deli, Indian takeaway and tennis courts as well as wonderful walking and cycling routes. The village has recently appeared in The Sunday Times list of 50 best villages in the UK.

We have a small and super friendly 3 year old dog called Millie (toy poodle x westie), two budgies, fish and chickens. The budgies and fish are really low maintenance. The chickens need letting out in the morning and and in at dusk, their feed and water topping up and any eggs collected. Millie is extremely good natured and loves people, she eats twice a day and enjoys walks on and off the lead.

My daughter has a small Welsh pony called Jupiter. He lives on the farm next door. He is currently in a paddock a joining our land. He's brought in and let out by the yard owner but it would be an enormous benefit if the sitter could do some stable chores (skipping out the stable, making feeds and hay nets). Jupiter is an old chap and super easy to deal with.

We are going abroad for the half term holiday in October this year and potentially over the Christmas holidays as well.
