About this house sitting position in Llanfair-Dyffryn-Clwyd, Near Ruthin
Hi, we live 2 miles outside the town of Ruthin, North Wales in a detached house with 10 acres which was formerly a farm and own 5 adult English Springer Spaniels and two Spaniel crosses. We are going away from 9 February to 15 February next year. We are looking for somebody to dog/house-sit for us. Our dogs would need to be exercised for 45 minutes minimum twice a day in our fields by basic ball throwing and walking around them. Only 2 are lead trained as the Springers are primarily working dogs but it is not necessary to take them out on walks. If you go out they can be left for 3/4 hours at a time indoors in any one day. They can all be left in the garden if dry for 1/2 hours at a time then brought in to rest. All live in the house but split into different areas i.e. 2 in the utility, 2 in the kitchen and 3 in the lounge/hallway. All of them are friendly and good natured. The only time some of them bark is territorially when somebody walks past on the private lane which is very rare. We will supply all food for these periods. Thanking you in advance!!! Read more...
