About this house sitting position in Martock

We live in a modern detached three bedroomed house with a garden located in the centre of our village surrounded by countryside with plenty of local walks. The village has two pubs and a well-stocked community run village shop with cafe and community centre.
We are looking for a non-smoking sitter for our Chocolate Labrador. We go away quite frequently each year - usually for one week at a time - and although we don't like leaving our dog behind we do like to know that he is happy whilst we are away. Our dog can be left alone for a few hours but he loves to be with people and being looked after in his own home is perfect.
Ideally we would love to find someone/a couple who would like to come back on a regular basis.
We do keep a clean and tidy house and take great care in cleaning our dog after he has come in from outside to minimise clearing up around the house.
Village amenities as described above are all within walking distance but a car is essential for getting around the area as there is no public transport.
We are on The Somerset Levels and the River Parrett flows nearby. There are walks from our front door across fields, droves and orchards.
We have one dog - 10 year old Max. He enjoys a couple of walks a day - a short 15-20 minute walk and then another of a minimum 45 minutes. Max can be let off the lead in the fields and is likely to spend most of his time walking behind you. We feed him twice a day and he will let you know if you are running late!
