About this house sitting position in MONMOUTH
I live in an old farmhouse deep in rural Monmouthshire - a listed historic building, rescued from dereliction. We now have all mod cons but have not tried to change the character of the old house. It is surrounded by our own organic farmland, woods, ponds and streams.
I hope to find caring conscientious and above all practical people to look after the house and pets and to check the sheep on the farm daily. The biomass boiler and the private spring water system may occasionally need attention, but all instructions for these (and everything else) are provided.
No gardening necessary.
Vegetarians preferred, but not essential.
The resident animals are 3 cats, 2 ponies and 2 peacocks. The sheep (about 200) will be here for the winter, in your care, but their owner is responsible for any problems.
