About this house sitting position in Rawtenstall
We are Sue and Steve, retired and enjoying golf and travel. We have a spacious detached home in a small quiet cul de sac of 10 detached homes. The house has 3 double bedrooms including en suite, garage, plentiful parking space, large garden with paved patio and decked seating area, balcony with beautiful views of the hills of the Rossendale valley, large kitchen diner and a second sitting room. We are close to the countryside and green hills with lots of lovely walks close by but we are only 5 minutes walk to the bustling centre of Rawtenstall, a thriving market town with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants as well as its own steam train station. There is also a regular bus service into Manchester which is 17 miles away. We like to spend time in our holiday home in Spain hence the need for reliable house sitters. We have one very loving cat called Shadow who is getting on a bit so all he requires is a comfortable lap and plenty of strokes and attention....
