Rodley, Yorkshire and the Humber

About this house sitting position in Rodley

We are a couple living in a mid-terrace Yorkshire stone property which backs onto the canal in the lovely suburb of Rodley.

It is within close distance to: local shops, great little pubs, the motorway, a short drive to Harrogate/Otley, also with a bus stop conveniently located outside the house to get straight into Leeds city centre.

We have a needy little black cat called Mildred, who after a rough start in life was given a second chance by us (and has certainly landed on her paws!).

We are looking for somebody to stay at the house and give her some company whilst we are away visiting family for Christmas, from Friday 21st December to potentially 30th/31st December (dependant on a house sitters availability). We really hate putting our girl in the cattery as she really hates it and gets separation anxiety, plus loves being in her own environment. We’ve had such a great experience with this site so far, with three very successful house sits. Fingers crossed someone is looking for somewhere cosy for a Christmas break.

We’d leave our Christmas decorations up (including a real tree!!) plus plenty of wood to use our wood burner.
