About this house sitting position in ruabon

We live in a farmhouse on 3 acres located in a picturesque part of N Wales near to many tourist attractions and less than 30 mins drive from Chester and around 1 hours drive from Manchester and Liverpool.
Accommodation consists of the main 4 bed house plus an attached 2 bed self contained apartment which the sitters will use
The setting is rural but not isolated. with a main line station, bus stops, shops and pubs within comfortable walking distance. Great location for walking, cycling and site seeing,
We wold expect the house sitters to look after our animals- a friendly dog (Raj)our cat (pippa) 2 geese and several hens and a rooster. All the animals live outside have their own 'accommodation' and do not enter the house (unless poorly of course).
Raj,and Pippa are fed once a day in the morning. Hens and geese roam freely in the paddock and have grain and corn a few times a week. The hens go back to their coop on their own when dusk is falling and the door just needs closing (to keep them safe from foxes) The geese we let into the main garden overnight (we have lost 6 geese to foxes over the past few years) . in the morning the chicken coop doors needs to be open and the geese let back into the paddock. Reviews for Alan

5 stars stars
“Alan and Joana thank you for the lovely review.
We so enjoyed our sit at Penycae.
Pippa was a joy to care for and she spent quite a lot of time with us.
The geese and chickens too, were well behaved. So pleased the chickens are in lay. Must be Martin the Chicken Whisper!!
Best wishes.
