About this house sitting position in Southampton

Sitter(s) wanted for a flexible 2-week sit in Southampton. Large, split level flat right in city center, a few minutes walk from main shopping streets/arcades and civic buildings.Easy access to museums, cinemas and historic Old Town/Town Walls preserved since Middle Ages. Southampton is a vibrant and modern city with a fascinating history lending character: both the Titanic and the Pilgrim Fathers departed from the docks here.
The sit is non-smoking, suitable for a single person or couple or young family, provided the children are good with cats.

Your main responsibility will be care of two cats, i.e., feeding scooping trays, playtime and letting in and out of the enclosed backyard (they do not roam freely). Both are healthy spayed females aged 6 and 7: the younger is bossy, loud, extremely affectionate, cuddly and demands 'conversations'; the elder is quiet, shy and very sweet. She is nervous of new people at first but will warm up in a day or two. NB that the stairs are numerous and steep so perhaps not suitable for very young children/people with mobility issues.

Dates and time period are flexible at present: I am a researcher at the university and wish to visit my hometown and family this Christmas so can arrange in negotiation with the sitter. Read more...
