About this house sitting position in Angmering Village, West Sussex

We are looking for someone who loves cats and village/countryside living to care for our cats and home whilst we take a holiday.
We have an end of terrace, traditional cottage with large garden. Our home is in a pretty village with quick walking access to the South Downs and beautiful country walks. Very near to the coast too. Welcoming pubs, cafes, village shop, post office and restaurants are all within easy walking distance in village.

We have 2 friendly cats, aged 3 and 14 years. They love company and a lap to sit on.

Our house is an older style cottage, recently renovated with a lovely large bathroom and a new kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.

We have a lovely garden for you to enjoy, with lots of wild birds visiting. During hot weather the pots and borders will need watering please.

Lovers of the countryside can enjoy access to public footpaths a short walk from the house.

If you have a small car, there is off street parking available, but owners of large cars will need to park, for free, just round the corner.

The train station is a 25 minute walk away which will give access to coastal towns such as Brighton and Southampton and a bus stop is directly outside, going to the station and local towns, including Worthing, Arundel and Rustington.

Ideally we'd like to meet a sitter online initially and then face-to-face before the sit starts to introduce them to the cats and our home. We would be happy to pay for local accommodation the night before the sit starts to facilitate this. Read more...
