About this house sitting position in Brabourne Lees

Hi there!

We have a light and airy open plan 3 bedroom home in a lovely rural Kent village with shop/Post Office, great pubs and huge choice of walks. It is very private yet not secluded and we have wonderful views over the surrounding farmland from our house and garden. There is even a deer park within a short walk. We have a spacious bedroom with patio doors, a kingsize bed and modern ensuite with walk in rain/handheld shower for the use of anyone housesitting.

There are excellent transport links, supermarkets and shopping within easy reach: Ashford town centre is only a 5 minute drive and Ashford International Station and Designer Outlet 10 minutes away. Hythe beach can be reached in under 20 mins so we have everything close to hand. A car is ideal but not a necessity, and there is secure gated parking right outside the house..

Our girls are Cody, an well trained 2yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback who is full of beans for a while then asleep for 2 hours, and Scout a 15 year old Jack Russell who is as easy as pie and sleeps a lot. Cody has a decent walk each morning and one/two short outings later in the day, last one at 8pm ish, loves human company and other (friendly) dogs, and is good in the car. Both have a lovely nature and Cody is very interactive and a big kisser.

Someone with experience of large breeds would be ideal but firmness and common sense are important, also dependability. Ridgebacks are highly intelligent and never miss an opportunity to run rings around the unsuspecting. A love of cleaning paws and floors is a bonus!

There is fast broadband, a large smart TV with Netflix etc, loads of USBC sockets and an office/study to use if working from home. Apart from dog care and house care, indoor plant watering and a little outdoors, if there's a dry spell, are all that's required.
