About this house sitting position in Braintree
We have an old thatched cottage just outside of town, a large garden, William the cat and 5 girls ( chickens ). all low maintenance. Fresh eggs every day. Quite central for London, Cambridge and the East coast. We contribute to travel costs. The cottage is very secure with an alarm system. Looking after the cottage and animals is the prime requirement. We do not expect sitters to be there 24/7 but you should be prepared to live and sleep in the cottage over the period of the stay. i.e. not in caravans or motor homes.
