We are new on this website, our dogs are super stars, Talpa a Labrador, well trained and biddable, Myrtle a jack Russel x miniature dachshund and her son Hippo, all very easy and adore hugs.

We have some mixed poultry, mostly set up for an easy life so just eggs to collect, feed and water usually only needs topping up a couple of times a week but chickens (lots of eggs), quail and guinea fowl .

We are relatively new to the area, so first year of garden but new veg patch and cutting garden built and hopeing to be productive this year.

We have a lovely listed rural cottage, surrounded by farm land and nature. Fallow deer, muntjac, roe, kites, buzzard, kestrels, partridge and osprey seen most days from the garden, we even have a resident pair of greater spotted woodpeckers in the garden.

Really accessible to all sorts of nice bits of the east midlands, Oakham is a couple of miles away, Rutland water half a mile, Stamford and uppingham 20 minutes. Restaurants, pubs galore, even the famous Hambleton bakery is less than 2 miles away!
