About this house sitting position in Caersws
Unique rural detached home set in 1.8 acres next to a river, in a small village in the heart of rural Mid-Wales. Our village has a pub and a church in walking distance, and a restaurant a short drive away from the house. The small market town of Llanidloes is 4 miles away.
The house has 3 double bedrooms, one en-suite, a separate ground-floor bathroom, lounge, study, dining-room and an all-electric kitchen - we have oil-fired central heating and a log-burner.
The house is a converted agricultural building and some of the ceilings are quite low; care may be needed by the very tall!
We need non-smoking house-sitters for when we occasionally go on holiday to look after our house and pets - we have 2 small dogs, 2 cats, and 3 hens! The dogs need feeding and exercising daily, and appreciate company.
The cats are fed daily with the dogs, and have a cat-flap to freely come and go. The chickens are free-range, and need to be let out in the morning and shut in at night - their coop is cleaned out daily, and food and water topped up as required. They are currently laying, and the eggs are collected daily.
