About this house sitting position in Cambridge

We are Helen and Eliot, a retired professional couple with grown children and several grandchildren. We love to travel - but we also love Django, our dog, and want the best care for him while we are away.
We have a very comfortable well-equiped detached house with an enclosed garden and off-road parking in a quiet street, 5 minutes walk from the village centre. There is a good variety of useful shops in the village, which is 5 miles from the centre of Cambridge (bus service). There are plenty of walks available from the house - a large nature reserve and networks of footpaths. The village is very friendly - especially when you are out walking the dog - he is well-known and much-loved!
Our dog is a sproodle (springer x poodle). He loves walks - he usually has two a day - though they don't always have to be long. He is gentle, calm and loving -and thrives in a calm atmosphere. He also loves to be played with - or to just sit close by watching what you are doing. He is fed twice a day, and enjoys a treat every-so-often.
