Our spacious and beautifully styled five-bedroom detached house is located on the edge of Chipperfield Woods, providing a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. We share our home with one delightful dog and three affectionate Siamese cats who will need looking after while we're away.

The house is set back along a private drive through the woods, secured by solid electric gates and CCTV, with ample parking space on the drive. The adjoining annex, where our son lives, will be locked during our absence as he will be away with us.

The serenity of Chipperfield Woods is truly special. The only sounds you’ll hear are birdsong and the occasional rustle of wildlife. Our rear garden backs onto lighter woodland, often visited by foxes, deer, and badgers—visitors our pets are well accustomed to (although Betty the dog may still try to give chase if she sees a fox in the garden!).

Two fantastic pubs are within walking distance, a Post Office, convenience store, café, and a lovely village restaurant nearby. A Tesco Express just 10 minutes away in Bovingdon and a wide range of shops and eateries in Kings Langley, around 12 minutes’ drive.

Our Pets
Betty – our sweet miniature poodle – is full of affection and always happy to greet new friends. She enjoys a morning walk around 8–9am (about 25 minutes) and a shorter afternoon stroll (around 15 minutes), both through the woods. At night, she sleeps in the laundry room and goes out for a quick morning wee when you rise.
The Cats – we have three friendly male Siamese cats who are easy to care for. They come and go via the cat flap, enjoy their meals daily, and love curling up on your lap in the evenings. They can be a bit vocal when they return home—but always in a charming, cat-like way!

The property has 5nr CCTV cameras located on the outside of the house as a security measure given our location being more isolated and to protect the driveway should anyone try to break-in, we have them as a deterrent and have never been previously broken into, but wanted them installed as a visual deterrent.
