About this house sitting position in Crowborough

We live near Ashdown forest in a comfortable 3 bedroom Oast house with 12 acres and beautiful views. We have one gorgeous dog Stanley, 2 friendly cats, Dibble and Tilly and 4 curious alpacas.

Although fairly rural there are 3 sets of lovely, approachable neighbours. We have lots of walks on the doorstep & many further afield . You will need a car to get to local towns of Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells but both are only 10 and 20 minutes away. In our village are pubs and shops and a supermarket, Tesco only 3 miles from our home.
The coast is 50 -60 minutes away either Eastbourne, Hastings or Brighton. All places that are very different but worth a visit.

Stanley is a chocolate 6 year old very calm, labradoodledor. He is an easy dog who likes company and affection and either 2 half hour walks a day or one 1 hour walk. He can be a bit nervous around other dogs.

Dibble is approximately 10 years; a stay at home cat who is initially shy but once friends, he likes company and affection. He is a fed 2 x a day & has a litter tray.

Tilly is approximately 10 years and a cat who loves being out & in. She too is nervous but then loves affection, once comfortable. Both cats are rescues.

We also have 4 alpacas; Freddy, Rupert, Bertie and Betty who are in the field and just need water & a head count. They are curious animals who will eat from your hand if you wish but they don’t need feeding. No experience with them is necessary.

We have had many house sitters via another site and always had excellent feedback. We are good communicators, leave comprehensive house notes and are welcoming. Read more...
