Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m looking for a house sitter June 09 - June 15.

I have a 1-year old cat named Hades and a 6 months old kitten Persephone. Hades is a friendly little guy who loves company, while Persephone is more timid but still playful, and I’d love for them to have someone caring around while I’m away.

My home is in Curbridge, a peaceful new-build area located near Whiteley, Botley, and Hedge End, about 9 miles (20 minutes by car) from Southampton city centre. It’s a quiet and relaxing space, perfect for anyone looking for a tranquil environment.

The best way to get here and around is by car. While there are train stations nearby - Botley being the closest - you’d still need a car or an Uber (about £15 from Hedge End station, a 12-minute ride) to reach the house. A dedicated car parking space is available for your convenience.

The house itself is a semi-detached property with a lovely garden. On the ground floor, there’s a living room and kitchen, while the first floor has the bedrooms. You’ll have access to a quiet guest bedroom with a private bathroom. The bedroom features a large sofa bed that easily converts into a king-size bed for a comfortable stay. I also work from home, so the house has excellent Wi-Fi and a home office space.

For shopping, Whiteley Shopping Centre is just 1.9 miles away (Tesco, M&S food hall), while larger stores like big M&S and Sainsbury’s are in Hedge End, about 3 miles away. If you enjoy a balance of tranquility and easy access to amenities, this is a great location. Both central Southampton and Portsmouth are just 25 minutes away by car.
