Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m looking for a house sitter December 24 - 28, 2025.

I have a 1,5 year old cat named Hades and a 1 year old cat Persephone. Both are friendly cats, Hades is more sociable and loves company, while Persephone is more timid but very playful, and I’d love for them to have someone caring around while I’m away.

My home is in Curbridge, a peaceful new-build area located near Whiteley, Botley, and Hedge End, about 9 miles (25 minutes by car) from both Southampton and Portsmouth city centres. It’s a quiet and relaxing space, perfect for anyone looking for a tranquil environment.

You'll need a car to get around. While there are train stations nearby - Hedge End and Botley, with Botley being the closest - you’d still need a car or an Uber (about £15 from Hedge End station, a 12-minute ride) to reach the house. A dedicated car parking space is available for your convenience.

The house itself is a semi-detached property with a lovely garden. On the ground floor, there’s a living room and kitchen, while the first floor has the bedrooms. You’ll have access to a quiet guest bedroom with a private bathroom. The bedroom features a large sofa bed that easily converts into a king-size bed for a comfortable stay. I also work from home, so the house has excellent Wi-Fi and a home office space.

For shopping, Whiteley Shopping Centre is less than 2 miles away (Tesco, M&S food hall). Larger stores like big M&S and Sainsbury’s are in Hedge End, about 3 miles away. If you enjoy a balance of tranquility and easy access to amenities, this is a great location. Both central Southampton and Portsmouth are just 25 minutes away by car.
