About this house sitting position in Denver

Hello, we live in a 4 bedroom house with a big garden that is well maintained and secure. We have 2 older dogs (an 9 year old black lab Monty and almost 8 year old dalmatian Nina) as well as 1 cat (1 year old Freddie) for whom we need an occasional pet/house sitter.

All pets are very friendly and loving, and they get along very well.

The cat is currently being trained to use a new cat flap and is out a lot, no longer uses a litterbox (unless it rains!), and comes home to eat, sleep and cuddle.

The dalmatian had some infrequent incontinence issues but is on Incurin type of medication 3x week which she takes no problem and has not had any incidents since starting the treatment. She is reactive to some dogs on a walk (after being bitten in the past) so is always on a leash. Other than that, she is great with people and children, very zen and cuddly - I call her my lap dog 😀

The lab is extremely loving, likes his space but can get jealous when other pets get attention.

The dogs like to sleep with us either on or near the bed.

We had previously had the same pet/house sitter for many years who now can no longer serve the area we are in unfortunately. Hence, the dogs are used to a live-in dog sitter.

We are keen to find a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter who would occasionally stay in our home when we are out for the day, short weekend away or bigger holiday. We do not live our dogs alone for longer than 4.5 hrs max in a single day and expect the same from a new pet sitter. The dogs are now older, sleep a lot, and only need one walk a day around mid day (unless it's hot, then early morning or evening) but they do not do well alone all the time and need regular toilet breaks and interaction throughout the day, with cuddles, snack times and play time.
