About this house sitting position in DEVIZES
Village location, 3 miles to nearest shop/town of Devizes, so own transport needed. 2 old, rescued, ordinary but very much loved cats, (mother = Lucy, around 19 years? and daughter = Shadow, around 18? ) would need TLC while we are away . Mummy has hypothyroidism; needs tiny drops of medication with a small syringe (extremely easy and she is very sweet with it) twice a day, then it is under control. Daughter, Shadow, just needs more and more time to work on her beauty sleep! - which shows!!
In winter this is "wellies and wax jacket" land, in summer sport shoes, clogs and casual clothes. Not a place for stilettoes, mascara or designer clothes.
House itself is on 2 floors, spacious, light, airy; though in the country, interior is very much urban. Not designed or furnished with children/dogs in mind, nor for large family cooking parties. Richly, soft, carpeted throughout - apart from utility and porch where shoes live - indoors socks are de rigueur, not even slippers needed.
