About this house sitting position in Diss

We are a Retired Fireman and Wife, Ray and Coral, who enjoy our gentle rural lifestyle in the Norfolk/Suffolk border village of Hopton. Would like someone that will care and look after the good life pets and garden we have. Very down to earth, friendly home and happy countryside atmosphere. We moved here over 39 years ago and have a well established garden with lots of plants of interest. We grow Alpines, and lots of different plants of interest.
Cacti and Succulents in safe glass greenhouses.
Our feather pets are our babies now the family have grown up. Very relaxful to feed, watch and enjoy the twitter of bird song both in the bird areas and the wild birds at feeding stations. Sitting with a coffee in the conservatory and watching the Native Parent birds and their Babies feeding is a lovely site to see. Any sitter is welcome to stay for longer or more time before the sit starts, at our home if they should so wish to extend their time here for their pleasure. It’s a great base for countryside enjoyment. We have had sitters from afar that we showed around this area and local sites. It worked very well and we have remained friends forever. Our dates could be flexible to suit your needs maybe either side of our sit.
Lots of local walks across Fens, Knettishall Heath, and the chance to see areas of Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Diss, Norfolk Broads and Coast, a car ride away.
The sunrises and sunsets hear our a site not to be missed when out for an evening stroll.
Our pet Cockatiel “Barney” who lives in doors with us will keep you good company with his songs and antics.
Fresh eggs daily and possibly vegetables.

Reviews for Coral

“We had a lovely time in your warm, comfortable and cosy home and it did not take too long to get the hang of the pet care. Barney was great fun! We also profited from the lovely part of the country where you live and visited Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich, as well as enjoying the Nature Reserve just down the road! Thank you very much for the stay!
all the best to you both Steve and Vicki
